Martin Luther King on Technology

"When we look at modern man, we have to face the fact that modern man suffers from a kind of poverty of the spirit, which stands in glaring contrast with a scientific and technological abundance. We've learned to fly the air as birds, we've learned to swim the seas as fish, yet we haven't learned to walk the Earth as brothers and sisters."
This clip comes from the documentary "Berkeley in the Sixties" I have no more info about this speech. If you do, please post it

Somebody Told A Lie - MLK that's never quoted

We here at Black Independence Day came across this clip, and were in tears, for it epitomizes our mission. We had never heard or seen this before. In this clip Martin speaks about what all Black folk, African-American and Negro alike should continue to strive for, not an emancipation or the results of being emancipated.
But, as we say here, a day of Black Independence, a Declaration of our Freedom and celebration of our Black Heritage. A Black Independence Day. on Youtube.
